When you happen to be far off on one of your favorite craggy off road trails and your engine temperature light starts blinding you, you will be hard pressed to get AAA to rescue you or even to be able to get to a gas station so you can fill your water reservoir.  You always need to make sure that you are ready for this eventuality and the Cam Can by Daystar is a great way to do this.  It holds 2.5 gallons of coolant, water or whatever other fluid you feel like putting in there.

With the Cam Can you won’t need to fill the too small cargo area in your Jeep with jugs, bottles or coolers.  This ingenious Cam Can that Daystar makes will sit securely right in the middle of the spare tire for your rig.  All you need to do is attach the Cam Can mounting plate and then slide the Cam Can onto that plate before giving it a twist that will lock it into place. Daystar builds their Cam Cans to be tough enough to be able to survive even the punishing conditions of the badlands.  These cans have been created from a polyurethane resin that is 7000 series rotation molded Paxton.  Dropping these cans accidentally or leaving them exposed to the UV rays will not have any effect on them whatsoever.   Also, if you are picky about colors – it comes in two.  This is also handy for keeping track of which one you put the coolant in and which one has water.

For those who feel the need to carry additional fluids with them, you can also get the Double Mount Kit which will allow you to carry two of these Cam Cans at once.  If you get the universal mounting kit, you can even hang the Cam Can on the wall in your garage when you are not using it.  These Cam Cans also come with a warranty.
